1940's Utility rocking chair

This very collectible chair is a brilliant 1940’s design with a nod to art deco style. It is comfortable, very stylish and built to last. It has a fully sprung seat & back and has been completely re-upholstered using sustainable materials. Its bentwood arms and rocker base have been stripped back and polished using traditional wood finishing techniques.

The handle on the side locks and unlocks the rocking mechanism so you can use it as a rocking chair or an armchair fixed at an angle that suits you. It has been covered in a beautiful lichen-green wool boucle called 'Teddy' by Kirkby Design. Both soft and durable.
